    Beat had his first contact with photography while working for the Berne Department of Archaeology. In 2003, he joined Guy Jost Photography Studio as an assistant. Following the completion of many assignments, Beat is now freelance and focuses on editorial/news content from his hometown, Berne. Beat has been a member of the Swiss Press Photographers Association since 2005.
