    International Herald Tribune: 2,000 high school students from an impoverished area of Johannesburg create an unusual birthday card for former President Nelson Mandela, who turns 90 this week.

    Circle Up Now, Actionaid, The Elders and 2,200 South African students honored Nelson Mandela on his 90th birthday by calling for action on the global food crisis by creating this large-scale work depicting Mr. Mandela with the message: “Freedom From Hunger”.
